Lazy Uniform

LT   Sekmadieniais aš dažniausiai mėgstu tinginiauti arba tiesiog viską daryti ypatingai lėtai, visiškai atsipalaidavusi. Tas pats liečia ir aprangą. Jokių pastangų, jokio galvojimo, jokio puošimosi, tiesiog norisi komforto, nes ką čia prisipuoši eidamas pasivaikščioti į mišką. Prieš kurį laiką įsigijau šį šiltą megztinį, ilgą ir jaukų. Man jis toks tikras rudens ponas megztinis - paltas, beveik mano savaitgalių didvyris ( gerai, gal čia šiek tiek per stipriai pasakyta). Taigi labai jį pamilau, netgi per daug, bet jis gi mane gelbėja tais tingiais sekmadieniais. Ar ir Jūs turite tokių tingių aprangos derinukų?

EN   On  Sundays, I usually like to laze or just do everything very slowly, completely relaxed. The same applies to clothing. No efforts, no thoughts, no dressing up. Comfort is what I seek. Besides who dresses up for a walk in the woods? Some time ago I got this warm sweater, long and cozy. For me it is a real mister autumn sweater - coat. I love it very much, even too much, but he is the one who saves me on these laze Sundays. Almost my hero (well maybe I overstated here). Thus I add my way too much beloved scarf and it feels so good, like Sunday good (if you have a clue what I mean). Oookay, Is top mumbling here as it doesn't lead anywhere and ask you if you also have certain lazy outfits for lazy days? Lazy is the king word in this post, excuse me :)
   

Four Favorites

LT   Bendrai susumavus ši savaitė buvo gera, bet laukiu nesulaukiu kitos, nes bus tikrai daug daugiau nei gera, labiau superinė, todėl kad nusimato keletas įdomių susitikimų bei vienas nesvietiškai naudingas ir smagus renginys. Taip pat dar labai norėjau visiems padėkoti už praeito įrašo gražius komentarus. Visuomet labai malonu jų sulaukti, o maloniausia dalis, tai kai tavo įrašas palieka ar sukelia kitam žmogui gražius jausmus ar bent šiek tiek įkvepia, va tuomet man pačiai labai gera pasidaro. Ačiū Jums! Šiandien sekmadienis, tad dalinuosi keturiais skaitiniais/idėjomis. Taigi žiūrim, ką turim.

• Tiesog buvau visiškai pakerėta šių nuotraukų grožiu.
• Kodėl gi Helouvyno neatšventus šiek tiek kitokiu kampu, ne vien su išskaptuotais baisiais moliūgais, o su estetiškai patraukliai atrodančiais DIY moliūgais. Beto, tai puiki dekoracija viso rudens laikotarpiu.
• Aš dievinu karamelizuotus svogūnus. Kitoks receptas nei gaminu įprastai, tad tikrai skubėsiu jį išbandyti.
• Jau senokai esu atradusi šias Vogue 73 klausimų serijas. Labai smagu jas žiūrėti. Mano mylimiausia yra su Sarah Jessica Parker.

EN   This week was good in general, but I can't wait for the next one, which will be way more than just good, I have a feeling it will be awesome, because of few fun meetings and one very useful and also full of great time event. Yay. I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who left nice comments on my last post. It's always a pleasure to receive them, but the best part for me is when my posts leave a good feeling, touche people who read them and maybe even inspire a little bit, so I am beyond happy when I achieve that. Thank you all! So today again Sunday and I am sharing my four favorites with you. Let's see what we have here.

• I was just mesmerized by these gorgeous photos.
• Why not to take a look at Halloween from a different angle, not only with scary carved pumpkins, but with the aesthetically attractive DIY pumpkins. Furthermore, it can be a great decor detail for the whole autumn season. 
• I love caramelized onions. Seriously, I adore them. This recipe is different than I make usually, so I will definitely give it a try.
• It's been a while since I found these Vogue 73 question series and I really enjoy watching. My favorite one is with Sarah Jessica Parker.

Plunge straight in

LT   Aš mėgstu šypsotis, aš mokinuosi džiaugtis, net kai sunku, tačiau karts nuo karto vis vien pasidaro liūdna, tiesiog kažkoks neramumas aplanko ar baimės pradeda kabintis. Atrodo lyg ir viskas gerai, bet vat viduje kažkas kirbena, tuomet man labai padeda sesės dovanotos atvirutės su įkvėpiančiomis citatomis. Ačiū, sese* Pasidalinsiu, gal ir jums padės, jei netyčia bus nedrąsu ir kokia baimė neleis žengti žingsnio svajonės link.

"Jiedu buvo paplūdimyje, ir tėvas paprašė ją patikrinti, ar šaltas vanduo… Pribėgusi prie kranto, vos vos palietė koja vandenį.

-Aš įbridau, vanduo šaltas, - tarė ji.

Tėvas paėmė ją ant rankų, priėjo prie jūros ir, nepasakęs nė žodžio, metė ją į vandenį. Ji sukliko išsigandusi, bet paskiau džiaugėsi tuo pokštu.

Gyvenam vieną kartą, tad jei įdomu, smalsu ir norisi kažką išbandyti, pasiekti, tai ir nerkime į tai, nes juk nepabandęs, niekuomet niekuomet nesužinosi, kaip būtų buvę. Labai svarbu žengti pirmuosius žingsnius savo tikslų, svajonių link. Jei labai baisu, neskubėkit, keliaukit mažais žingsneliais, mažais tikslais, taip bus tikrai drąsiau. Aš žengiu tuos mažučius žingsnelius į priekį ir su kiekvienu kartu darosi vis drąsiau ir drąsiau, vis labiau imu pasitikėti savimi. Ir ta kiekviena nugalėta baimė, žengtas žingsnis bei kiekviena pastanga vis priveda  prie naujų galimybių. Dėl to labai džiaugiuosi galėjusi susipažinti su daug talentingų bendraminčių, viena iš jų Anouk, kuri slypi po šiomis gražiomis nuotraukomis. Mano naujoji graži ir šilta draugė, turinti puikią fotografo akį bei humoro jausmą ir pradėjusi naująjį stiliaus fotografijos tinklaraštį FASHIONESSED, tad nepatingėkit ir spustelkit pasižvalgyti. Ačiū, Anouk, už puikų laiką, už vištos kojos juoką (ji žino :)) ir puikius rezultatus.

EN   I love to smile and I am learning to enjoy life even when it's difficult, but from time to time, it still gets sad, some kind of fear or restlessness starts to cling. It seems like everything is fine, but inside you still feel vulnerable, then what helps me the most is my sister's donated cards with inspiring quotes. Thank you, sister* I will share one, maybe it will help you too if you feel scared to step towards your dream.

We live only once, so if you are curious, if you want to try new things and achieve your dreams, you have to dive straight into, otherwise you will always regret and will never ever know how it would have been. It's important to take first steps towards your goals, your dreams. If it's too scary for you, don't rush, don't try to want to take everything at once, just take smalls steps, small goals every day, little by little and you will see that it in not so scary at all. I am making those tiny steps forward and every time it's getting bolder and bolder and I am gaining more confidence. Every defeated fear of unknown things, every step, every effort leads to new great opportunities. As an example, I am very happy I got to know plenty of talented people, who share the same passion like me, and one of them is Anouk, who is hiding beneath these gorgeous pictures. My new beautiful and really warm friend, who has a perfect photographer's eye and great sense of humor and who has recently launched her new fashion photography site "FASHIONESSED", so please take your time to look around her blog. Anouk, thank you again for the great time, laughter ( chicken arm/leg ;)) and lovely result!

Four Favorites

LT   Aš skaitau daug blogų, kartais visiškai paskęstu juose (negerai, žinau), jau geriau tiek pat laiko įdėčiau į savojo tobulinimą, bet, ech, taip lengva pasinerti į tas gražias nuotraukas, tuos receptų lobynus ir taip sunku iš jų išnerti. To pasekmė - galybės folder'ių su įvairiausiom idėjom, tad nusprendžiau, kad atėjo metas pasidalinti su jumis, gal rasit, ką nors naudingo ir dar nematyto, o tuo pačiu įnešiu šiokio tokio naujo vėjo į savąjį blogą.

• Artėja Helouvyno šventė, tad pats metas pradėti regzti įdėjas šventės įgyvendinimui, o kas gali būti geriau už saldainių barą. Nenueičiau šalin nuo jo :)
• Jau senų senausiai svajoju pagaminti Miso sriubą, tad šis receptas bus tikrai išbandytas. Nekantrauju.
• Oooh šios nuotraukos, tas baltumas, tas lengvumas, tiesiog negaliu atsigrožėti šiuo namų interjeru.
• Super duper lengvas ir gražus pasidaryk pats projektas, nutrauksiantis pastovias gražios lėkštutės papuošalams paieškas.

EN   I read plenty of blogs and sometimes I get totally drowned in them (not good, I know), instead of that I could work more on my own blog, but, ech, it's so easy to dive into these beautiful photos, recipes treasures and so difficult to get out. The outcome of this is a great amount of folders with different ideas, so I decided it's finally the time to share some of these goodies with you. Maybe you will find something useful and new, herewith I bring some new winds on my blog.

• Halloween is approaching, so it's the right time to start brainstorming how to fulfill this feast, and what could be better than amazing candy bar.  I wouldn't leave alone this corner :)
• I have been dreaming to make Miso soup for quite a long time, so this recipe will be tried out for sure. Can't wait!
• Oooh these photos, that whiteness and purity, I just can't get enough of this beautiful home interior. 
• Super duper easy and great DIY project, which will stop constant researches of beautiful plate for accessories.

Bruschetta Peperonata

LT   Brunch’as arba vėlyvieji pusryčiai. Galiu teigti, kad beveik kiekvieną savaitgalį galėčiau savo pusryčius pavadinti vėlyvaisiais, nes niekaip nesiseka, tiksliau net nesinori (nereikia čia vaidinti gi ir meluoti) išsiristi iš šiltos lovos. Tačiau tik praėjusįą savaitę suorganizavau pirmajį oficialų (?? okay, oficialus, nes su svečiais) sekmadieninį brunch’ą. Pirmas blynas ir ……visiškai .....neprisivilęs! Aha, žinau, ko tikėjotės (prisvilusio)! ;) O kaip tik superinis, noriu dar ir dar tokių puikių akimirkų su daug skanaus maisto ir gera kompanija. Kaip ir viską išvardijau: maistas – homemade ir skanus, jokių fail’ų, siaubingas oras, bet mieli ir smagūs draugai absoliučiai kompensavo jį. Tad nusprendžiau ir su jumis šiek tiek pasidalinti stalo akimirkomis bei puikiu pusryčių receptu. Išbandykite! Tikrai nenusivilsite!

EN   Brunch or late breakfast. I can admit that almost every weekend I have late breakfast, because I am not able to kick myself out of the warm bed early, okay, let's not pretend and lie, I don't even try hard to succeed that. Oups. So only last week I held my first official (?? yes, official, because guests were included) Sunday Brunch. It's my first pancake, which was......amazing! Aha, I know what you were all expecting (burned out)! :) Luckily, it was super great and all I want now is to repeat again and again that moment with delicious food and amazing company. Basically, I told you everything: food - homemade and tasty, no failures, terrible weather, but sweet and funny friends totally offset it. So today I wanted to share this table moment with you and, of course, another great recipe for brunches. Try it! You won't regret!

Bruschetta Peperonata adapted from the book "Metai Beatos virtuvėje"

• Ciabatta duonos // Ciabatta bread
• 1 raudona paprika, supjaustyta juostelėmis // 1 red pepper, finely sliced in stripes
• 1 geltona paprika, supjaustyta juostelėmis // 1 yellow pepper, finely sliced in stripes
• 1 žalia paprika, supjaustyta juostelėmis // 1 green pepper, finely sliced in stripes
• 2 skiltelės česnako // 2 cloves of garlic
• 1 šaukštelis džiovintų raudonėlių // 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 šaukštelis Provanso žolelių mišinio // 1 teaspoon mixed herbs of Provence
• 4 šaukštai balzaminio acto // 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
• 1 šaukštas kaparėlių // 1 tablespoon capers
• Alyvuogių aliejaus // Olive oil
• Druskos // Salt
• Pipirų // Peppers

LT   Supjaustome ciabattą riekelėmis ir lengvai pakepiname orkaitėje. Tuo tarpu į keptuvę įpilame aliejaus ir įkaitiname. Dedame paprikas ir kepame ant vidutinės ugnies 5-7 minutes. Nuluptas česnako skilteles išspaudžiame česnako traiškikliu (jei neturite, galite paprasčiausiai gražiai sukapoti), įberiame abiejų rūšių prieskoninių žolelių ir pakepiname porą minučių. Tuomet pilame balzaminio acto ir padidiname ugnį, kad keptuvės turinys pradėtų burbuliuoti. Skystis keptuvėje pasidaro šiek tiek klampokas. Įberiame šaukštą kaparėlių, šiek tiek druskos ir pipirų. Pamaišome ir voila, skaniausias peperonata troškinukas užsidėti ant šviežios, traškios ciabattos.

EN   Cut the ciabatta into slices and lightly toast in the oven, meanwhile pour oil in a pan and heat it. Add and bake sliced peppers over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Squash peeled garlic through a garlic crusher into the pan (if you don't have a garlic crusher, so just nicely chop chop it), add dried oregano, herbs of Provance and fry it a couple of minutes. Then pour balsamic vinegar and increase the heat so the content of the pan starts to bubble. The liquid  gets a little bit viscous. Add capers, pinch of salt and pepper, mix everything well and voila, delicious peperonata to put on fresh and crispy ciabatta.
