La Pochette de Janette

As they say better later than never. So I am finally sharing with you guys what I got in one of the Pochette de Janette bags. These little surprises always make my day, especially when  I am very happy with what I find inside.

This Eau de Cologne "Acqua colonia" is my favorite thing from this pochette. It  has pink pepper and grapefruit notes. The scent is really refreshing, floral and spicy at the same time. I find it a perfect scent for the summer. P.S. Let's take some time to admire the packaging, it is so gorgeous, isn't?

Another product I was happy about is this shampoo with donkey milk from Asinerie. I have never tried shampoo with donkey milk, so I am really looking forward to test it out. It supposes to clean and condition the hair and is suitable for all types of hair.

Temporary tattoos are still trendy. These are from Mauviette Tattoos. Their design is not entirely up my alley, because I do prefer the gold/rose gold or silver ones, but it could be quite fun to try something different, right? I imagine styling these tattoos with a leather jacket or denim jacket to get that edgier look.

Moving on to other items of the pochette, I was intrigued by the Sili'sponge for applying foundation, bb cream and all that jazz. I am very into my Real Technique's sponge, which I find so useful for flawless application, but there always comes a time when you need to change to a new one, so I will give a try to this silicone sponge. I'll let you know!

There were few more items in this pochette like magnet from National Museum of History and Art in Luxembourg, also a voucher of 25 euros at Mea Culpa in Bascharage.

My New Beauty Favourites

Happy December everyone! I am very excited about the upcoming festivities. We decorated our Christmas tree this weekend while listening to Michael Bublé Christmas album (cliché) and we have already put some presents underneath. I also put few Christmas decorations in all rooms, so we feel really festive right now and I couldn't be happier. For this occasion (getting festive occasion :)) I also decided to treat myself with two new beauty things that I've been wanting to try for a long time now.

Sveikinu visus su atėjusiu gruodžio mėnesiu. Aš labai džiaugiuosi artėjančiomis šventėmis ir laukiu nesulaukiu jų. O kad pilnai įsijaustume į šventinį laukimą, tai šį savaitgalį pasipuošėme eglutę, žinoma, besiklausant Michael Bublé Kalėdinio albumo (klišių klišė) ir netgi pastūmėmė keletą dovanėlių po eglute. Šiek tiek padekoravau ir visus likusius kambarius, tad mes jau esame visiškai šventiškai nusiteikę, kuo labai labai džiaugiuosi. Ta proga (tiesiog švenčių laukimo proga :)) nusprendžiau pasidovanoti dvi dovanėles, kurių jau norėjau kuris laikas. Apie ką aš čia kalbu, skaitykite žemiau.

THE BALM MARY-LOU MANIZER highlighter. I have to  make a tiny confession here.  It's my very first highlighter, can you imagine??  A little bit shocking, right? Who doesn't have a highlighter? I guess I was one of the few ones. Anyways,  I've been meaning to buy a highlighter for some time, but I've been hesitating between few different brands and as I found the highlighter a product that you will use for a long time, I took it seriously to choose the right one. Finally I went for a popular Mary Lou highlighter and oh boy, I did the right choice! It's my new addiction, I apply it every day and I am loving it. If you have any other favorite highlighters, I would love to hear it, because I am thinking about getting a second one soon :))

THE REAL TECHNIQUES sponge. I am very late to this sponge train, but most of the time I was using the brush to apply my foundation or sometimes I would blend it simply with my fingers. The thing is that lately I've been struggling to get a flawless result, so for this reason I decided to try a sponge from the Real Techniques, which also had 20% discount, so I found it a good moment to try. Oh my god, where have I been all this time??  After using few times I fell in love with this magical orange sponge. It's very easy to use and the most important thing is that this sponge gives you a flawless and natural look. No kidding. I haven't tried the original Beauty Blender to compare them, but apparently the latter works even better. Anyway, I am really happy that I changed my foundation brush to this sponge from Real Techniques.

So here they are my two new beauty addictions. I should have bought them way sooner. Only if I knew how great they were.  

LUSH Winter 2016 Collection

With Halloween being over, we can finally get into full Christmas spirit, who is in with me?? Two weeks ago I went to annual LUSH Christmas collection presentation at their boutique. As every time I had an amazing time with my fellow bloggers and got to try new Christmas products that I am sharing them with you today. So let's get started:

PAPA NOEL face wash jelly looks like a beard of Santa and is supposed to make your skin bright and fresh. Honestly, this is the only product that I am not raving about at all. First of all, I am not a fan of the texture, it's one big piece that you need to mass in your hands with a little water. Secondly, I have a sensitive skin, so I don't like to change my face routine that much.

SUGAR PLUM FAIRY lip scrub. I am in love with this scrub and in general with all Lush lip scrubs. I use it once a week and it helps my lips to stay smooth. This particular one has a nice, strong scent. Smells so good like a jelly candy. Besides, just look at this beautiful purple color!

SUGAR PLUM FAIRY lip tint has deep purple color. Contains coconut oil, jojoba oil and wild orange. Beautiful color in general, but I rarely put these kind of shades on my lips..

SLEEPY body lotion leaves the skin velvety soft and lightly scented. Almond oil and cocoa butter will hydrate well your skin for sure. Love this lotion!

SNOW FAIRY body conditioner. Well, this thing has a very, very sweet scent, I am not sure if it is right up my alley, but despite the scent, I really like the effect of this product. It really makes my skin smooth and hydrated. 

REINDEER ROCK soap looks super luxury because of its beautitul royal blue color. And just look at this cute golden reindeer.

SNOWIE bubble bar is supposed to make you feel like one of the world's biggest stars.  I already like it because of the description :)) It has a fresh and light scent and contains grapefruit, neroli and rose oil.



JESTER (on the left) is a reusable bubble bar, meaning you can enjoy a few baths with it, how great it is?! SANTASAURUS (on the right) - cute dinosaur with a little Santa hat on its head, also reusable!

Here you can see few bath bombs that smell amazing and I am pretty sure they will make your bath so colorful and full of Christmas spirit! I haven't used them yet, they are just too beautiful to use so fast.

I hope you enjoyed this year's Lush winter collection presentation. I have my few favorites like lip scrub, body lotion and conditioner. Love them, smell so good that it even makes me want to eat them :)) but I am not going to do that, obviously! To sum up, one of these Lush products could make a nice gift for a friend or family member of yours!! Let's get started with Christmas preparation!

La Pochette de Janette {September}

Normally, I don't like to hear a doorbell, because it always surprises and somehow shakes me, but when a postman comes, I am totally okay with that. Few weeks ago I heard an unexpected doorbell and a postman delivered La Pochette de Janette, September's issue. I am always excited to unpack a nice wrapping and to find out the germs hiding inside this cute clutch bag. I will share with you what I got right away.

Dažniausiai netikėti durų skambučiai mane sutrikdo ir nemaloniai nustebina, tačiau kai pamatau paštininko uniformą, tuomet nusiraminu ir apsidžiaugiu. Taip nutiko prieš porą savaičių, kai išgirdau tą netikėtą ding dong ir sulaukiau paštininko su siuntinuku. Visuomet smagu pasižiūrėti, kas čia atvyko ir nekantriai, bet atsargiai išpakuoti gražų įpakavimą. Šį sykį tai buvo rugsėjo mėnesio La Pochette de Janette, kurią jau esu aprašiusi kelis kartus anksčiau. Šiandien dalinuosi su jumis, koks gėris slėpėsi šioje kosmetinėje.

BRACELET 'I love you to the moon and back' from Ame&Lys, a french jewelry designer. It's a delicate, gold color piece, which I find cute.

TWEEZERS from Filosofille has a unique design. I've already tried and it works really well, it catches the hair easily and does what it supposes to do. Happy to have these tweezers in stock.

NAIL POLISH from 'Be cosmetics' in the color burgundy. A perfect shade for autumn. I've never tried this brand, so I don't know yet how long this nail polish stays on the nails and how it applies.

WASHABLE MAKE UP REMOVING WIPE from 'Tendances d'Emma'. Again french brand who invites you to use this washable wipe instead of tons of cotton pads, save money and the environment. It says it can be used with any type of beauty product like lotion, oil based, water based etc. I will definitely give this a try, if my skin accepts it well, so why not to stop using cotton pads.

TEA BAGS 'Or tea'. Never heard, never tried. I got three Chinese tea bags: Monkey Pinch, DRagon Well and Mount Feather. It will be never enough of tea!

Last two items (if I can call it this way) would be one month English language course online at EF (Education First). I think these kind of courses are useful, especially when English is not your mother tongue language. And the last thing I got is a gift card for 5 sessions of body massage with a H2O Body System or one month fitness at Lady Fitness Luxembourg, if I understood it right.. I am not very into this gift, because I have a subscription to my local gym and I like it.

I was happy to receive and review this La Pochette de Janette, and I am eager to use most of the content.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics {review}

EN   Hello every one! Let's talk today about You Tube star Tanya Burr and her cosmetic line. I've been wanting to try Tanya Burr products since the launch, but I never managed to make an order. Thanks to my dear friend who sent me this little kit for my birthday, I got finally a chance to get hands on few products. 

The kit contains nail polish, mini version lip gloss and nail file. Firstly, let's talk packaging which I find has a really low quality. I would expect something way better from the beauty lover as Tanya Burr. Golden details are cool and at the same time so common that you would at least expect to last it longer, but it feels like you can scratch it off with your nails very easily.. In my opinion, the packaging looks nice from further, but not in the close up.

LT   Sveiki visi! Šiandien noriu pasidalinti savo įspūdžiais apie Tanya Burr kosmetiką. Man jau kuris laikas knietėjo išbandyti jos liniją, tačiau kaip visuomet nesugebėjau padaryti užsakymo. Taigi šį kartą turiu padėkoti savo draugei, kuri man atsiuntė gimtadienio proga mini rinkinuką ir suteikė galimybę išbandyti kelis Tanya Burr kosmetikos produktus.

Rinkinukas susidėjo iš nagų lako, lūpų blizgio ir mažutės nagų dildės. Pirmiausia, apkalbėkime pakuotės dizainą, kuris, deja, yra tikrai prastos kokybės arba tiesiog pigiai atrodantis. Iš tiesų, iš tokios kosmetikos mylėtojos kaip Tanya Burr tikėtumeisi kokybiškesnio rezultato, deja... Auksinė pakuotė yra gražu, tačiau kartu labai stereotipiška, tad bent jau norėtųsi to kokybiško aukso, kuris laikytųsi, o Burr kosmetikos atveju atrodo, jog patrinsi gerai nagu ir visos raidelės sau nusivalys... Idėja graži, pakuotė iš toli arba žiūrint per you tube video patraukli, deja, iš arčiau ne kažką..  

Mini lip gloss Cotton Cane smells way too sweet. Normally I am into sweet scents, but this one is just way too much even for me. Like a super sweet cotton candy. The color is very light, I prefer to use it on the lipstick to give a subtle pink gloss. A great thing about this lip gloss is that it isn't sticky at all. But the scent is way overwhelming to enjoy this lip gloss. Speaking about the duration, well as it is a lip gloss, I don't expect much, and it really doesn't last long...

Mini lūpų blizgis Cotton Cane yra labai saldus. Dažniausiai aš esu mėgėja saldesnių kvapų, tačiau šis net ir man jau per saldus. Kaip kokios super prisaldintos cukraus vatos.. Spalva šviesi ir lengva, tad man norisi jį tepti ant kokio lūpdažio, tik suteikiant šiokį tokį rausvumą ir blizgumą. Didžiausias ir vienintelis pliusas šio lūpų blizgio yra konsistencija ir tai, kad nelimpa. Dėl laikymosi, na žinote, tai juk lūpų blizgis, išlieka trumpai.

Nail polish Be bright, be happy, be you. Beautiful bright pink color is right up my alley. I find this color unique, bold, but at the same time very feminine. It reminds me my childhood and all older women wearing bright pink nails. It used to be a cool thing and I used to think: wow, I want to grow up and color my nails like this :) So here we go, I did it! Firstly, I had some issues with the opening of this nail polish. I tried to turn the lid and I struggled to open. Apparently there is a golden lid which you can take it off and you find a black, traditional lid or you can try to open both lids at one time. Despite the confusing opening, I really liked this nail polish. Honestly, I love the color and application. Two coats are enough to get a smooth bright result. Unfortunately, the polish started chipping the second day which I found very sad... Next time I will try on my toes, I am pretty sure it should last longer.

Nagų lakas Be bright, be happy, be you. Graži, ryški rožinė spalva mane visuomet vilioja. Išsiskirianti ir drąsi spalva, tačiau kartu tokia moteriška. Ji man primena vaikystę, kai visos tetos lakavosi tokiom rožinėm spalvom, o aš tik ir laukiau, kada užaugsiu ir lygiai taip pat rožiniai lakuosiuosi nagus. Štai pagaliau ir aš vaikščiojau išdidžiais rūžavais nagais :)) Iš pradžių turėjau šiek tiek pavargti su buteliuko atidarymu, nes ne iškart supratau, jog auksinį dangtelį galima nuimti ir po juo slepiasi įprastas juodas atsukamas dangtelis. Galiausiai išsiaiškinau, kad galima ir abu atsukti vienu metu. Atradimai :) Nepaisant painaus atidarymo, aš esu patenkinta šiuo nagų laku. Tiesą sakant, labiausiai mane žavi spalva ir aplikacija, nes dviejų sluoksnių kuo puikiausiai pakanka norimam tolygiam ir ryškiam rezultatui pasiekti. Na, o liūdnoji dalis yra ta, kad jau antrą dieną lakas pradėjo atšokinėti, todėl neteko ilgai pasidžiaugti šia gražiąją spalva. Kitą kartą planuoju išbandyti ant kojų pirštų. Tikiuosi laikysis ilgėliau.

I am glad I got a chance to try few things from Tanya Burr cosmetics. Would I repurchase?? Honestly, no... The quality is not worth the hype at all... Actually, I feel quite sad about all you tube stars and their quick launches. I find it that they try to have their own cosmetic line just for having it, for achieving something, but they don't pay attention to the quality at all... What do you think about it??

Lush Mother's Day Collection 2016

EN   Hello guys!!! Today I wanted to speak about the newest Lush range for Mother's day which will be on the first Sunday of June in Luxembourg. In Lithuania we celebrate this day on the first Sunday of May, in Belgium the second Sunday of May and in Luxembourg it's only in June. It's a second year when I was invited to attend a #LushBlogParty in Luxembourg city for a Mother's day range presentation. As always it was such a fun and nice evening. At first we had an opportunity to create our own flower bouquet for our mothers. I must admit I really enjoyed putting my flower arrangement together, it felt somehow relaxing and I was very happy with the result. Unfortunately, I couldn't gift it to my mother as she is in Lithuania, so I got it to keep for myself. Lucky me. After that the shop assistants made a cute presentation of all products dedicated to Mother's day by telling a fairy tale and presenting each product at the same time. It was really nice.

Taip, Lietuvoje mamos diena jau paminėta, Belgijoje taip pat (antras gegužės sekmadienis), tačiau Liuksemburge ji bus minima tiktais birželio pirmą sekmadienį. Turiu pripažinti, kad man labai patiko ši veikla, kuri kažkaip labai raminančiai paveikė. Taip pat pavykęs rezultatas nuteikė maloniai. Deja, neturėjau galimybės padovanoti šios puokštės savo mamai, nes ji Lietuvoje, tad teko ją pasilikti sau. Skųstis negaliu. Po to parduotuvės asistentai pristatė produktus sekdami pasaką ir demonstruodami kiekvieną produktą. Buvo labai gražu.

The last and my favorite is the shower gel Yummy Mummy which has a beautiful purple color and smells sweet and fruity. I really like the majority of the bath bombs and bubble bars from Lush, but shower gels and body lotions/conditioners stay my favorite, because of their hydrating qualities. So all Luxembourgish daughters don't forget to surprize your mothers!!!!!!

New Nail Polishes For Spring

EN   I have a pretty large arsenal of nail polishes, but every season I like to get few new shades, because I tend to get bored quite easily of all colors I already own. Plus, the sun hasn't been making a lot of an appearance lately, so what could boost the spring mood more than few colorful purchases. Besides, neat and rosy or peachy nails always give that smile of satisfaction and a good feeling in general. It always makes me feel better! Always.

LT   Aš turiu sukaupusi pakankamai didelį nagų lakų arsenalą, tačiau keičiantis kiekvienam sezonui visuomet norisi kažko naujo, šviežio ir pakeliančio nuotaiką. Be to, juk taip greitai pabosta turimi nagų lakai, o dar kai  saulė nelepina savo spinduliais pastaruoju metu, tai kas geriau gali bent šiek tiek sužadinti tą pavasarinę nuotaiką jei ne keli nauji, šviesūs pirkiniai. Žiūrint į gražiai sutvarkytus ir rausvus ar persikinius nagus, norom nenorom veide atsiranda pasitenkinimo šypsenėlė. Man taip visuomet būna. Visuomet.

Essie "Resort Fling" was my first choice. I wanted a perfect peachy tone, neither too pink'y nor too orange'y, and this shade is just perfect. I am very surprised how well it stayed on my nails without chipping - 3 days. Today is a fourth day, I can already see some chipping, but I can survive today for sure.

My second choice was L'oréal "Dimanche après-midi" from their new nail polish collection enriched with oils to give intense color and shine. I wanted to try this one since I saw these nail polishes appearing more and more in a blogging world. I really like the pastel rose color, two coats are enough to get a nice result, unfortunately I am not very convinced with a formula in general. I applied it  and the same day few nails chipped... I am not sure if it's nail polish itself that doesn't last or that I had applied anti brittle serum on my nails before applying L'oréal polish. I will try again and I will see how it will go this time.

Dry Shampoo Game

EN   We all already know well how dry shampoo can save our day. I always have one bottle in my bathroom and if I accidentally run out of it and don't have an extra packaging, not good, totally not good.. I like to use dry shampoo for a second day hair to bring them to life again and give some volume. Sometimes I use it on my dry hair, but when I really want more volume, I tend to spray to roots while my hair is still wet and only then I blow dry. It really works very well.

Funny story, once long time ago, when the dry shampoos had only appeared  on the market, my friend told me: "Monika, why to buy shampoo when you can simply use flour. It's the same effect. You just take some flour, massage it to the scalp and good to go. Look, I did it this morning. You can't see flour and my hair looks great". I was very surprised and I knew very well that she wasn't making fun of me, she really used flour not once. And I was tempted to try, maybe it could work. So I tried. Massaged flour in my scalp...rubbed it well and...I had flour in my hair which didn't look so fresh and ready to go :)))) so then I decided to buy dry shampoo instead and I don't regret doing so :)) I guess flour is not for all types of hair :))

Now let's get to few different brands. I have my all time favorite dry shampoo, which I tend to buy most of the time asides of the other 'testing' shampoos, in case if they are not working very well for me. Simply said, I am always on the hunt for a really good dry shampoo. So far I tried these:

LT   Mes visos jau puikiai žinome, kaip kartais sausas šampūnas gali išgelbėti mūsų dieną, ar ne? Todėl nors vieną buteliuką tokio šampūno visuomet turiu savo vonioje, na o jei netyčiomis jis pasibaigtų ir neturėčiau atsarginės pakuotės, būtų tikrai nesmagu... Sausą šampūną aš mėgstu naudoti vadinamiesiems antros dienos plaukams, kai norisi juos prikelti naujai dienai be plovimo, tačiau dar labai mėgstu jį naudoti plaukų purinimui. Tuomet šampūną purškiu ne ant sausų plaukų, o ant drėgnų  ir palei šaknis, ir tik  poto išdžiovinu su džiovintuvu. Geriausias variantas išpurinti plaukus.

O dabar šiek tiek juoko. Seniai, kai dar tik pirmieji sausi šampūnai pasirodė parduotuvėse, viena mano draugė tarė: "Monika, na kam čia pirkti tokius dalykus, kai gali paprasčiausiai naudoti miltus, juk toks pat veikimo principas. Paimi šiek tiek miltų, gerai įmasažuoji palei šaknis ir žiūrėk, puriausi plaukai gaunasi. Aš taip darau ir šį rytą miltus naudojau, matai, nesimato jų, o plaukai gerai atrodo." Man akys ant kaktos beveik iššoko, bet ji nesišaipė iš manęs. Ji tikrai naudojo miltus ne vieną kartą. Žinoma, ir aš susigundžiau išbandyti šitą triuką ir kitą dieną masažavau miltus ant savo galvos. Tryniau tryniau..ir galiausiai nusprendžiau, kad gal aš visgi geriau nusipirksiu sausą šampūną, nes tie miltai gaivumo ir purumo tikrai nesuteikė mano plaukams :))) nuo to laiko nesigailiu savo sprendimu įsigyti šią priemonę. Matyt, miltai nėra skirti visų tipų plaukams, o gal ir kokią kitą rūšį panaudojau nei ji, kad nesigavo :))

Dabar pakalbėkime apie kelis skirtingų kompanijų sausus šampūnus. Turiu vieną patį pačiausią, kurį visuomet stengiuosi įsigyti šalia dar kokio vieno, nebandyto šampūno, jeigu netyčia pastarasis būtų nevykęs. Taip kartu esu užtikrinta, kad turiu savo vonioje saugų variantą, bet kartu vis esu pastovioje naujo sauso šampūno paieškoje. Šiandien aprašau šiuos:

AUSSIE Miracle dry shampoo // Hmmmm, not so sure if it is a miracle or more like hell shampoo... Before buying it, neither I did any research, nor did I pay that much of attention to what was written on the packaging. I simply wanted to try something from Aussie. After trying it, I regret buying. The reasons are: it makes hair even more greasier. It has a very weird texture like a texturing spray and a hairspray were put together, so after spraying it to the roots, I get a sticky, yuck feeling. On the label it says 'push up effect'. And it gives you that, but the feeling is not the best. I wouldn't call it a dry shampoo at all... It's my newest purchase, I still trying to figure out how to use it properly, but so far I wouldn't buy it again..

JOHN FRIEDA Volume Refresh dry shampoo // Well I don't have much to say about this shampoo, because it's in the middle. It does what it is supposed to do, have a nice not overwhelming scent, but still doesn't feel like 'woaw I love this one'. And I finished it too quickly.

BALEA dry shampoo // Actually I liked it and I would buy it again. It doesn't make hair oily, lasts long time, smells nicely, easy to massage to the scalp and has a good price. I am often surprised by the quality of Balea products.

BATISTE dry shampoo // And here we go, my all time favorite and very well tested dry shampoo. I've already used more bottles than these three in the photo. It really works very well every time I use it, absorbs well the oiliness, doesn't leave white patches and easy to blend. Batista dry shampoos simply satisfy all the characteristics of a good dry shampoo.

Bits & Bobs (life lately)

EN   Hello hello!! I hope you all are doing fine!! We have snow in Belgium, which is awesome! So beautiful outside. Yesterday we went for a walk in the forest and it was magical. Sunny, white, calm, peaceful, no one around you, only the sleeping nature. I really appreciate moments like this. They make me happy, they calm me and as much as it sounds cheesy, they make me dream over and over again...which is a great thing. I like to dream, maybe sometimes I dream more than I should or at least I should do more for making these dreams come true. But well that's me, always need someone to kick my butt towards my own dreams :))

For today's post I decided to gather few bits and bobs that make me excited and happy. I am that kind of girl who is so capable of enjoying little things like these new very minimal earrings that my sister gave me for Christmas. They are made from the wood and colored in gold color, they are perfect when I wear a statement necklace, but I still want/need something in my ears. Thank you, sister, for know me so well!! :))

LT   Sveiki sveiki!!!! Tikiuosi laikotės puikiai!! Pagaliau ir Belgiją pasiekė sniegas, kas yra tiesiog nuostabu!! Lauke taip gražu gražu. Ta proga vakar išėjome pasivaikščioti po mišką. Buvo saulėta, balta, ramu, tyku, nė vieno prašalaičio aplink, tik tu pats ir mieganti gamta. Labai vertinu tokias akimirkas. Buvo taip gera minti niekieno nepramintais takais ir mėtyti savąsias pėdas baltame sniege. Tokios akimirkos man suteikia laimės, ramumo ir kad ir kaip banaliai skambės, verčia svajoti. Aš labai mėgstu svajoti, kartais daugiau nei turėčiau ir kartais turėčiau daugiau padirbėti, kad tos svajonės virstų realybe. Tokia jau esu, vis reikia spyrio iš šono, kad judėčiau savo svajonių link :))

Šiandienos įrašui sugalvojau surinkti visokius dalykėlius, kurie mane džiugina pastaruoju metu. Esu iš tų merginų, kurios sugeba pasidžiaugti mažais dalykėliais, kaip kad šiais mažučiukais auskarais, kuriuos sesė man padovanojo Kalėdų proga. Tai mediniai auskariukai, padengti aukso spalvos dažais, puikiai man tinkantys prie statement vėrinių, kai vis vien kažko norisi/reikia ausyse, bet kartu neperkraunančio. Tad dar kartelį ačiū sesei už tai, kad puikiai žino mano skonį!!:))

Archipelago Botanicals candle Black Orchid. During my stay in Lithuania I got quite few scented candles myself and as a gift from the Candelaria Home Fragrances boutique. I love burning candles and I love when they really have a scent that fills the whole room and it even stays for another day without burning. There is no evening without burning a candle in my home, like no evening, especially during winter.

I have a little (or maybe a bit bigger :)) perfume collection and I was searching for a tray to put nicely all my bottles. And I managed to find it just before Christmas in H&M home section, so obviously I got it. Now all my collection is nicely displayed, and every time I look at it, it makes me smile and use perfumes with a huge satisfaction.

This little dotted notebook is a place where I write all my blog related ideas. It's like my blog post ideas brainstorming book. The L'oreal lipstick aside is the lipstick I am currently trying to use up. I want to use up older lipsticks so that I could replace them with new ones :)) This nude by J.Lo is a beautiful nude color that I use for everyday bases. It doesn't stay well on the lips, but I really like the shade and how it looks on my lips.

Another gift, this time from my mother. Two handmade leather bracelets. They are my new favorite bracelets. Super beautiful and stylish, I've already wore them in my newest style post which is coming up on Friday. So don't forget to check it out!

Oups, another gift from Christmas again :)) This post is turning into 'What I got for Christmas post' :)))) but hey, I got such lovely and thoughtful gifts that make me very happy, so why not to share if it is something I really like. Just look at this beautiful glassware. I adore things like this and my sister knows it very well, so I was more than happy to receive it. When I came back home I filled it with Lithuanian candies that I have a weakness for. Oh yes, a big and serious weakness. I took plenty of candies to Belgium, because seriously Lithuanian sweets are so good!!! :))

We finally have gorgeous and chic champagne glasses. Now all we need to do is not to break them little by little :)) because they are so thin and sleek. We got them before Christmas with a discount which was really great. In case you wondered they are from Leonardo and called Puccini champagne glasses. For someone who loves some bubbles like me it is an amazing purchase!

I have two little winter flowers (I don't know what's their proper name, anyway I always call them winter flowers :)) Flowers make home more alive, I still need to get one big plant and maybe few succulents too. I used to laugh and roll my eyes on my sister when she was spending hours in flower shops, but here we go now, I start to enjoy it too :))) #everythingcomeswiththeage

Finally I have the comfiest pyjamas ever. OMG. This is something I want to get in and never get out. Seriously, it's so comfortable and soft, and I just love it. I want to spend all my day in this :)))) Hunkemoller you made my evenings so soft and cozy!!

KIKO Intensely Lavish Lipsticks

EN   Hello everyone! I am finally back after almost two weeks of absence. But I have to admit it was so good to disconnect from everything, from all social media, even my beloved Instagram, I almost didn't use the Internet and fully enjoyed my stay in Lithuania. On the other hand, it feels good to be back too now. I am looking forward to 2016, I hope it will be a good year. As every year I made new goals that keep me going forward and improving my personal and professional sides, but I like to keep it for myself, so I won't be sharing it here. I also find it very fun at the end of the year to cross the goals I achieved and see others that I didn't.

But now let's start new year with a beauty post. I wanted to write about these KIKO Intensely Lavish lipsticks like a month ago when I ordered them, but you know, sometimes I suck at my scheduling.. I saw these shades in one you tube channel and I instantly craved for them, and apparently it was a special discount weekend on the KIKO website, so I had  to get them. And I am happy I did it, because these lipsticks are amazing for the amazingly little price. Creamy texture, the pigmentation is really good, even too strong for me as I like lighter lips, and it stays on the lips really long time. Besides, look at this beautiful packaging. I mean I can't ask anything more. If you are hesitating to try KIKO lipstick, I highly suggest you go for it. Maybe you will like just like I do, who knows! Or if you have already tried them, I would love to hear your opinion!!!!

LT   Sveiki visi! Pagaliau sugrįžau čia po beveik dviejų savaičių tylos. Tačiau turiu pripažinti, kad buvo be protiškai gera atsijungti nuo visų socialinių tinklų, net nuo mano taip mylimo Instagram'o, beveik nenaudojau interneto ir pilnai, tikrai pilnai pasidžiaugiau savo atostogomis Lietuvoje. Nors iš kitos pusės, lygiai taip pat gera sugrįžti čia į savo blogą. Žvelgiu į 2016-uosius ir labai tikiuosi, kad tai bus geri metai. Kiekvienoje naujų metų pradžioje susikuriu naujus tikslus ir juos gražiai užsirašau savo knygutėje. Tai man padeda nepasimesti ir eiti savo asmeninio bei profesinio tobulėjimo linkme, tačiau šiuos tikslus pasilieku tik sau ir čia, deja, nesidalinu. Taip pat būna labai smagu metų pabaigoje sudėti pliusiukus prie įgyvendintų tikslų, na o tų kurių nepavyko, tiesiog jei dar tikrai artimi man, perkeliu į naujus metus, o jei jaučiu, kad visgi jie ne mano, tiesiog išbraukiu. Paprasta.

Na o šiandien pirmąjį naujų metų įrašą pradėsiu grožio tema. Iš tiesų, apie šiuos KIKO Intensely Lavish lūpdažius norėjau parašyti gal prieš mėnesį ar daugiau, kuomet juos užsisakiau, bet žinote, man kartais nelabai sekasi su planavimu. Užmačiau šiuos lūpdažius viename you tube kanale ir kaip mat užsigeidžiau, o dar apsilankius KIKO internetiniame puslapyje atradau specialą nuolaidą, tad nieko kito nebeliko kaip tik imti ir užsisakyti :)) Ir labai džiaugiuosi, kad taip padariau, nes tik pažiūrėkit, kokie gražūs šie lūpdažiai!! Kreminės tekstūros, labai pigmentuoti, man netgi gal šiek tiek per daug, nes mėgstu "lengvesnes" lūpas, taip pat laikosi kuo puikiausiai, o dar nepamirškime prieinamos kainos paminėti. Be to, negaliu atsidžiaugti šiuo gražiu įpakavimu. Jeigu dvejojate, ar bandyti, ar ne KIKO lūpdažius, tai patariu išmėginti, gal jums patiks taip, kaip man jie patiko, ką gali žinoti! O jeigu jau bandėte, būtų labai įdomu sužinoti jūsų nuomonę!!!!

EN   Hello everyone! Today I thought to share bit and bobs from my Christmas waiting moments. Even though we all work, study and are occupied by daily stuff, it's good to stop a little bit and enjoy this beautiful Christmas waiting period, to appreciate little moments, to write a handwritten letter to your friends, to start wrapping gifts, to light the Christmas lights, to heat your oven for delicious baking, to pull out of your drawer a new winter collection beauty stuff, because it's fun! And all these little things, little steps they do count and they can make these dark days even a little bit brighter. I believe in it, and you??

LT   Sveiki visi! Šiandien sumaniau pasidalinti su jumis keliomis švenčių laukimo akimirkomis. Nors mes visi ar tai dirbame, ar studijuojame ir esame pasinėrę į kasdienius rūpesčius, tačiau vis vien yra labai svarbu truputį stabtelėti  ir pasidžiaugti šiuo magišku metu, parašyti laišką savo draugams, pradėti pakuoti kruopščiai atrinktas dovanėles, įžiebti Kalėdines lemputes namie, įkaitinti orkaitę gardiems kepiniams ar išsitraukti iš stalčiaus neseniai pirktą kalėdinės linijos grožio produktą, nes juk taip yra smagiau. Šie visi dalykėliai, kad ir kaip atrodytų mažiukai ir bereikšmiai, iš tiesų, yra labai svarbūs ir reikšmingi ir gali šias tamsias, nykias dienas paversti bent truputį šviesesnėmis. Aš tikiu tuo, o Jūs??

I don't know about you, but I really have much more fun using certain products in a beautiful festive packaging. So when I went to Yves Rocher store and saw their winter collection, I couldn't resist not buying something, so I got this light texture hand cream. It moisturizes lighty, absorbs quickly. It's enough for me, because I don't like oily hands. Plus, the cream has a nice scent and a festive label, so this tube ended up on my table next to my bed, so that I could fall asleep with my soft hands and a festive spirit :)

Nežinau, kaip jums, bet man žymiai smagiau naudoti produktą gražiame šventiniame įpakavime. Tad ir pamačiusi Yves Rocher parduotuvėje jų Kalėdinę liniją negalėjau susilaikyti ir pagriebiau šį lengvos konsistencijos rankų kremą. Lengvai drėkina, greitai susigeria. Man to užtenka, nes nemėgstu riebaluotų rankų. Dar kvepia šventiškai ir pakuotė papuošta dailaus dizaino etikete, tad ši tubelė atsidūrė ant mano staliuko prie lovos, kad kiekvieną vakarą užmigčiau su švelniom rankytėm ir šventine nuotaika :)

With all digital things it's easy to forget to send a handwritten greeting to your friends. But we shouldn't! It doesn't take a lot of time to write simple, honest words, but it gives so much joy to a person who receives it! It is worth your time, isn't it? I tend to keep a little stack of cards so whenever I need, I would have it on my hand. I started writing and sending Christmas cards, what about you??

Šiame skaitmeniniame amžiuje jau beveik pamiršome, kad egzistuoja ir ranka rašytas laiškas. Parašyti keli paprastus, nuoširdžius žodžius tikrai neatima daug laiko, užtat kiek džiaugsmo suteikia tam, kas jį gauna. Juk vien dėl to verta paaukoti kelias minutes, ar ne?? Aš mėgstu turėti atviručių atsargų, kad kai prireikia, visuomet būtų po ranka. O ir dažnai šiaip negaliu atsispirti gražiai atvirutei, tad ir įsigiju, taip ir atsargos niekuomet neišsenka. Aš jau pradėjau raityti raides ant atviručių, o Jūs?

I love baking and cooking in general, but during winter time I am way more into all things kitchen related, including indulging what I prepare, but let's not discuss this today ;) I still like to buy food magazines even though we can find millions of recipes on the Internet, but I prefer to feel the magazine in my hands and scroll through it many times. I also have a recipe journal that my mother gifted me long time ago. I write down there only the recipes which are worth remaking and which I really like. I am kind of sentimental about these things, hand written things, journals. I think it's cute and worth saving and maybe one day it will be passing through our future families' hands. Who knows..

Aš mėgstu gaminti, bet per šventes ir žiemos metu tai išvis esu labai linkusi į visus dalykus, susijusius su virtuve, na, žinoma, ir skranduko palepinimus, bet šiandien mes ne apie tai :) Iki šiol aš mėgstu pirkti maisto žurnalus, nors internete galime rasti milijonus įvairiausių receptų, tačiau man žurnalo laikymas rankose ir jo vartymas n kartų išlieka didelis malonumas. Taip pat turiu gražią receptų knygutę, kurią seniai seniai padovanojo mama. Į šį žurnalą nutupia tik patys skaniausi ir verti kartojimo receptai. Taip, belekoks receptčiokas tegu net nesvajoja ten būti užrašytas. Branginu tokius ranka rašytus dalykus, kaip ši receptų knygutė, gal kada ji bus perduodama iš rankų į rankas. Kas žino...

I started wrapping gifts few days or one week ago, I guess. I can never decide which color or style to choose to keep my wrapped gifts flawless, so I always end up mixing various colors and styles and I find it much more fun.

Aš pradėjau pakuoti dovanėles prieš keletą dienų ar savaitę (atrodo). Bet kiekvienais metais man būna labai sunku nuspręsti, kokį stilių noriu išlaikyti ir kokias spalvas pasirinkti, tad dažniausi miksuoju įvairius raištelius, spalvas ir dizainus. Galiausiai taip būna smagiau, rezultatas gaunasi gražus ir nereikia apsiriboti viena tendencija. 

I can't believe that Christmas is almost around the corner and I don't want the festivities to end, so let's enjoy all these moments to the fullest!!!

Negaliu patikėti, kad Kalėdos jau beveik už kampo, o aš dar nenoriu, kad visas tas šventiškumas taip greitai pasibaigtų. Tad pasimėgaukim, kiek tik galim!
