Tortilla Snacks

EN   I have to admit that I love snacks. I love snacking while watching the movie, I lobe snacking when I am super bored. Let's just clear one thing: it is not like I eat all the time :) you know what I mean by saying evening snacks, right? :) So in my kitchen I have a "secret" drawer, where you can find plenty of delicious treats, unfortunately, it doesn't last a long time, so the content is always up to date, oups. One day I found a simple recipe of tortilla chips/snacks, and of course I decided to try. I adapted recipe, ok, almost totally and from the prime recipe was left only tortilla wraps, because at that moment I had prepared my tomato sauce. I have to say these tortilla chips turned out so well. I brought them to my friends and it just disappeared so quickly! Real success, yay!

Tortilla Snacks adapted from Gabrieles blogas

EN   For my recipe I used Marinara sauce (I shared the recipe few posts ago). Smear well the sauce over the tortillas with a help of a baker brush. Then cut triangles with scissors or any other your preferred shape, place triangles on the baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes in 180°C temperature. After taking out of the oven, let it cool down. I suggest you to prepare the Marinara sauce, because the taste of snacks will be worth your preparation time. However, if you are not into making this sauce, then you can use regular ketchup, mix with dried basil, oregano, little bit of salt and olive oil, and do the same: smear over tortilla, cut and bake. Super easy and really delicious snack!

  1. I like the way you presented the chips. They look and sound delicious. As I am a cheese lover I would probably add some over them before baking.
